Great! Just the kind of publicity the NBA needs before the season even starts. It's getting more difficult to find a decent person/athlete to pull for anymore.
Things getting interesting. Earlier in the week, it was reported Faboulous, the rapper and his "posse" were fired upon as they left P. Diddy's bar/restaurant in NYC. It just so happens that Boston Celtics (and Brooklyn born) point guard Sebastian Telfair was at the same establishment with his fiancee. It's reported that he left the bar and some guy ripped the $50,000 necklace of his neck and stole it.
Telfair was "seen" by "witnesses" as telling someone over the phone to "take care of it," while he refused to notify the police. It appears the guy who stole his chain was apart of Faboulous' crew. A short time thereafter as Faboulous and crew leave the place, they're fired at about nine times.
Telfair went to a NYPD station around half-time of a game @ MSG earlier in the week (while his coach said he was sick) to reportedly see if he could ID the robber. He denies he was questioned on any possible role in the shooting.
This should get interesting....

The NBA is worthless.
Couple that with what happened with the Pacers again and your off to a great start.
"There he goes, one of Gods own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die"
